We’re Here to Help

We understand the value that pets bring to our lives. So, when our pet is struggling with complex medical issues, it can be devastating.

Our highly trained internal medicine team is dedicated to helping pet owners understand their options and make educated, informed, compassionate decisions about the next step in their pet’s medical care and life journey. A phone conversation with their primary care veterinarian can be part of our service.

All of our guidance is based on our extensive experience with advanced veterinary medicine and the Five Parts of Medical Decision Making: prognosis, finances, history, emotions, and physical capabilities.

Importantly, because Dr. Burtch operates from a place of compassion, wisdom, and respect for a pet’s right to quality of life, she can provide an objective perspective.

Appointments – What to Expect

We understand that every pet has their own unique needs, so we tailor our services accordingly. Our goal is to make our time together as comfortable and easy as possible.

We offer a variety of plans for you to choose from based on the level of care you are seeking. Our appointments include time with you, the pet parent. The information is summarized and automatically shared with your primary care veterinarian for better continuity of care. We can directly communicate with your primary care veterinarian as well. Video consults can be recorded for later review. Phone, email, video, and text consultation options are available for your convenience.

We use a veterinary health platform called IDEXX NEO to schedule all of our appointments and house all of your pet’s information in one convenient place. When you sign up with one of our plans, simply accept the invite from our clinic to create an account with IDEXX NEO. This will give you access to your pets’ records and allow you to schedule consultations in the future. Take comfort in knowing that all information remains confidential.
